Coincidence

Just found out that my BFF is also pregnant and has a due date just two days before mine. How lucky is that coincidence? We have been swapping stories about nausea (hers=bad, mine=not bad at all), having to pee all the time, constant hunger, and trying to be a fun mom to our other kids while being so tired. I am so excited to share the experience with her, and I hope our kids end up best friends too!

11 months ago, we decided we were ready to add a baby to our family. Here is our new little one at nine weeks along!

You can see it on the left... the head is about as big as the rest of the body, and there are tiny arm and leg buds. The doctor says everything looks good so far, and we saw his/her strong little heartbeat!

All I want is to be a good mom. I love my job and church and family and the community events we are involved in, but the most important thing I do every day is try to be a good mom to my son, and I want a little sibling for him more than anything.
